Okay guys, hello and welcome back!
As the title says, this is my last DIY of the week. So sad, I know. 😦 BUT the fun is not over yet! Today I will be going over how to make a cute little Paopu fruit plush to share with someone you want to be in your life forever ❤ (It can be romantically or not, just remember that!)
So here is what you will need:
To get started you will need to cut out your Paopu fruit from the coloring page you printed out. This will be your pattern for your plushie. Once it is cut out, trace around it on your pieces of felt and then cut those out.
When you have your two yellow starts cut out you will pin them together around the edges. Next you will either be sewing the entire thing with a sewing machine or by hand. I personally used a sewing machine. (I’m also sure you could use fabric glue too but I personally have never done that) If you are hand sewing (you go, girl! Or boy!) you will be using a whip stitch (search YouTube for tutorials on how to do a proper whip stitch). You will sew almost around the entire start but leaving one of the edges of the star unsewn. With your unsewn side you will be using that to pull your star inside out.
With your star inside out, it’s actually the right side out. Use either a pen or a pencil to help push your points all the way out. Once it’s fully reversed, you will be using stuffing to stuff your star. This is your choice on how fluffy or not fluffy you want your plushie. When you get your desired fluffiness you will need to hand sew your open edge closed. Again, using a whip stitch.
Once your beautiful star is all sewn up you will need to attach the leaves! Using any kind of fabric glue, choose how you want them to be arranged and on which edge and glue them all. Leave the star upright while it dries completely and then you’re all done!
This is how mine turned out once completely done:
I hope y’all enjoyed this DIY! Let me know in the comments which DIY this week has been your favorite. And if you try this one let me know how it goes and as always show me pictures! Until Monday, stay classy and sassy, loves 😉
