Recent playings of the video games!
Today is Wednesday and you know what that means! Either I’m doing a favorite games OR a what I’ve been playing. And based on the title it’s a what I’ve been playing Wednesday!!!
So what have I been playing?
PC: HuniePop – You can thank my boyfriend for this one. I found it on his Steam and couldn’t help but play it. I legitimately called it his waifu for laifu game. Yeah, I’m just so nice 😛 This game is hilarious and really entertaining. It’s a puzzle game for those who don’t know. A game where you complete puzzles to have successful dates with the women that you are trying to make fall in love with you. But really it’s just to get in their panties, let’s be honest. The puzzles get progressively difficult, you have the say the right things to the right girls, remember things that they tell you (which is hard when you have like seven girls), and complete the puzzle successfully in the deemed amount of moves. If you don’t you have a bad date and wasted some time and a (what will later be deemed) easy puzzle. I like it, I recommend it. It’s fun and very fun to make fun of 😛
GameCube: Sims 2 – I recently have been watching a YouTuber that I follow play this game and it pushed me to play it again. Oh my gosh. So much nostalgia. This game was so annoying but so much fun. It was different than the Sims on PC. How you ask? There was an actual story line. You used a controller. You had to do certain things to progress the game further and you didn’t stay living in one place. Sometimes you controlled all the Sims in the household and sometimes you did not. Which was an interesting concept to me, especially back then. I recommend highly for those who don’t want to delve completely in to the Sims pool. This is a good foot in to start with.
Switch: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – This game is easily, in my opinion, the best Mario Kart game out. I instantly fell in love with Mario Kart 8 because it was both beautiful and fun. How cool is it to go zero gravity? Answer: REALLY COOL! I think the levels are the right balance of easy to medium to harder. You have a gradual curve especially within the cups. I also appreciated the fact that there wasn’t such a harsh learning curve when it came to the different cups. I have found in previous Mario Karts that the difference between 50cc and 100cc is way too much. The upgraded installment on the Switch adds a couple things that I had wished they had put in on the Wii U version such as multiple item slots. Having two item slots is like a complete game changer. It just adds so much more to the game. Like giving the person in first two opportunities to have coins instead of one 😉 Go out and try it when you get the chance!
Not too many games this time around but at least I was able to squeeze some gaming time in! Better than nothing!
Share what you’ve been playing! Tell me what I absolutely have to try!
Stay classy and sassy 🙂
I had some pretty good chill time lately which means some wonderful gaming time was able to be squeezed in which is always great!
PC: Sims 3 – I had a problem with my new build PC where it didn’t want to play the Sims 4. Which was annoying but fine because I had the Sims 3 and all the add-ons for the Sims 3 to play instead. So I did. Turns out that I had some kinks to work out with the Sims 3 as well but I got them all figured out and it’s all good. I forgot how much I had missed the Sims 3 and just how much I like it more than the Sims 4. I started a household with the intention on trying to complete the 100 baby challenge. If you don’t know what that is, it is just like it sounds. You have a Sim and try to have that Sim to parent 100 babies within that Sim’s life cycle. I personally have never completed it due to technology issues in the past. My Sim, Delilah currently just completed her degree in fine arts from university, adopted a puppy and is eager awaiting her first child. She does have a job in the film career path and ironically her boss is the soon-to-be dad to her child. So much drama! It’s great. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
PC: Pajama Sam 3: You Are What You Eat From Your Head to Your Feet – Yes. I did play this. Why you ask? The boyfriend and I were reminiscing about old computer games, especially the old point-and-click adventures and we both decided we wanted to relive some of those “glory” days. I had forgotten just how cutesy and adorable Humongous Entertainment games were. Such a shame that they don’t exist anymore.
PS4: Kingdom Hearts Final Mix – This one I haven’t played too much of myself. I’ve been watching Mathew play it more. The PS4 remaster of this is just so beautiful. I have fan girled so hard over this game. I can’t get over the amazing changes from the regular game vs. the final mix and then the remaster look on top of it all. It’s been a blast to relive all the great and frustrating moments of one of my favorite games with one of my most favorite people in the world.
Wii U: Paper Mario Color Splash – Like this is a surprise anymore. But I am so close to being done with this game! I finally surpassed Larry and man was that frustrating. I made it through more levels all the way to the last giant Paint Star (which is the green one for me!) to Lemmy. OH MY GOODNESS. This is proving to be difficult for me. So needless to say this is where I am stuck and where I have abandoned the game for now.
Not too many games have been played but quite a few hours have been logged on each of these. Many fun times and new memories have been made. That’s honestly one of the great things about gaming to me. The memories created while playing. And the story lines of course 😉
Stay classy and sassy ❤
What I have been playing recently!
Welcome and hello friends!
Funny how it’s gotten to be another Whatcha Been Playing Wednesday already! (Especially since I didn’t post it last week! ;))
So these past three weeks I have gotten a fair bit of gaming in. Mostly because it’s been three whole weeks! But it still is never as much as I want to get in. But I feel like even if all I did was eat, sleep, breathe games it still wouldn’t be enough for me.
Wii U: Paper Mario Color Splash – Surprise, surprise here right? 😛 This game. Oh my goodness. I dread finishing but I am so excited to finish it. It is honestly getting to be a pain in my ass. Don’t get me wrong, I still absolutely love and enjoy the game. But. Yes, there is a but here. I’m starting to understand why there was hate for the game. As the game progressed it just seemed like developers were like, “Oh no, we need to make it more difficult but how?” Instead of focusing on a GREAT story line (don’t worry I do like the story line), they decided to add in upside down worlds, cooking elements and game shows. And honestly, the cooking part of it just made me straight up mad. Ask Mathew. He’ll tell you all about the rage-y messages I sent him while playing this. That moment actually helped pushed me over the soon after edge to rage quit. The fighting Larry on the train and him getting HP fed to him is so frustrating. All of that plus having to wait on a slow Toad to help you make it so Larry wasn’t being fed HP while throwing cards away was too much for me. At that moment. We will see when I cool off enough to pick the game back up. 😉
PC: Golf With Your Friends – This game. Is so great and yet so frustrating. As I have said before, I really enjoy playing it with the boyfriend and just casually talking. But oh my gosh. Some of these levels I swear are made just to make you say all the cuss words in the book! I love this game because it’s different from most mini golf games. Plus I enjoy the challenge (for the most part). It makes me want to be ballsy-ier on certain levels to try and go for that hole in one. Or to kick Mathew’s butt. Either way. It sometimes works out for me. 😀
PC: Sims 4 – I knew it wasn’t a good idea to try to get my sim to have twins on my first go with toddlers. But yet, I did it anyway. Especially on a play through that I have decided to not use cheats on. So what did I do? Hired a nanny. Thank goodness for nannies. They help me keep my toddlers alive, not murder my husband and keep the social worker away. The bigger issue is (or non-issue as I will some times look at it) I knew that when I downloaded the Sims onto this PC that it was going to become my life. Well, as most of it as it can become has. But as much as I just want to go on and on and on about this, I’m not going to. I think I will save some of my crazy Sim times for a different blog post, that should be happening soon 😀
Not too much but I did spend a good chunk of my time on each game so that’s good!
Until next time, stay classy and sassy ❤
